Utterly Disappointing Customer Service & Poor Store Management To say disappointment is an understatement regarding my experience at this location. I went in around 9:00 PM to process a return and was initially told by the customer service associate that no one available could help me because the employee trained for returns had to leave sick. I completely understood that—it is never the employee’s fault if they aren’t trained, and being rude to them wouldn’t fix anything. However, the situation became completely unacceptable after I did some quick shopping. I noticed about 5 to 7 employees working in the store. When I went to self-checkout, two employees were standing around having a non-work-related conversation. After waiting a bit to get my ID checked, the employee finally noticed me and walked over. I asked him if I could process my return, and he told me, **"It’s not a good night to do a refund."** He then explained that the person who handles returns was "upstairs" (meaning the main office) and wouldn't be able to come down until 10:00 PM. Let that sink in: * There *was* someone in the building who could process a return, but she “could not” come downstairs to help a custome

Until today, BJ'S was our go to store for our major bulk shopping trips. We stock up on paper goods, meats and other grocery items. When we were ready to check out, we found that self check out were the only registers open. We had $499 worth of goods and we were ready to abandon our cart and leave, until Michael C came to our rescue and proceeded to take over and help us check out. Unfortunately, we had just renewed our membership, not sure we will be back. We are seniors, uncomfortable with technology , and need and want check out service.

We went to BJ's optical department ... Only because our household finance manager has a rule about comparing prices --though I personally lean toward comparing convenience. Anyway. So I have a new Rx for spectacles. We went to a place near home. But too high $ impact-wise and the optometrist fellow here was not nice. ( He didn't laugh when I tried on a frame and exclaimed 'Look, Doc, I can see!') we went up to the Pheasant Lane Mall. Prices were obscure and the insurance picture was blurry. Then go to BJ's.... Where we were treated well by two ladies who were enthusiastic about their work and patient with our questions. The cost was lower than anywhere else; the frame choices were modern. I ordered my shiny new glasses and picked them up a few days later. Went to this place on an impulse but saved money and found what I wanted with great service along the way. Another plus was they allow free access to the frames so you can view yourself wearing them, no feeding you one at a time while you're under duress.

Great selection! Store was very organized which made the shopping experience a great one. Easy to add your membership to DoorDash and get products delivered to your door for similar prices.
